Rep. McGarvey Slams Reports that Elon Musk’s DOGE Is Now In Medicare and Medicaid Systems

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 5, 2025) – Today, Congressman Morgan McGarvey (KY-03) released the following statement slamming reports that Elon Musk’s DOGE is now in the Medicare and Medicaid systems: 

“It should scare us all that Elon Musk and DOGE now have access to the Medicare and Medicaid systems that over 350,000 Louisvillians rely on for health care. What’s next, is Elon Musk going to get access to the Social Security Administration and be in charge of who gets their Social Security checks?

“This is their end game: to go after Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other vital programs while doling out huge tax breaks for the billionaires who bankrolled Trump’s campaign.”
