Statement on Passing of Pope Francis

Today, Congressman Morgan McGarvey released the following statement following the passing of Pope Francis:

"In life and service, we are judged by how we treat those on the margins — Pope Francis led with that belief.

"Today, I join millions in mourning his passing. His legacy calls on each of us to treat all of our neighbors with compassion and lift up our most vulnerable."
