Today, Congressman Morgan McGarvey released the following statement: 

“Congratulations Pope Leo XIV, the first Pope from the United States.

“I hope Pope Leo XIV will guide us with moral clarity and unite us in the pursuit of peace, justice, and compassion.

“We must continue to lift up all of our neighbors, especially those on the margins.”
